- I know....I know.....you guys are surfing the internet to get information about houses. So Real Estate is about houses too. But for Real Estate Professionals it is about people. It is events in people's lives that move people to buy or sell houses. We all hope for the reason to be a positive one, but that is not always the case? Examples:
- Having a new baby? Need more space? Empty nest? Need less space? Got a promotion and want a bigger house? Moving across the country to start a new job? Have too much house and want to downsize? Need to settle a loved ones estate? Just married and want your first place together? Getting a divorce and looking to move on? Buying your first house on your own because you can? Want to invest in real estate? Moving closer to loved ones? Moving further away from loved ones? Selling everything and traveling the globe? Want a fixer-upper to work on? Tired of renting? Buying low and waiting for the market to go up? Trying to avoid foreclosure? And the list goes on........
- All of these Real Estate situations revolve around people, and peoples lives. Whether buying or selling Real Estate, the event can be stressful no matter what the reason. There are as many obstacles as there are reasons to buy or sell. Because there are so many emotions and personalities involved in a Real Estate transaction, most people should seek the help of a professional to help them through the process. We have the experience to buffer the hills and curves of the emotional roller coaster. (By the way...I didn't make that whole roller coaster thing up on my own? That is what it is referred to by a great deal of buyers and sellers). That is why I like my job!! Not because I like roller coasters......because I like people.
- Speaking of my job, this section is supposed to be where I give my Professional Profile. So here goes.................I am an Executive Real Estate Broker!
- Just like many of you I have done many things before I found my calling. Here is the short list: Farmer, ditch digger, construction worker, equipment operator, trim carpenter, pipefitter's apprentice, bartender, stock boy, dishwasher, cook, server, dumptruck drive, cement mixer operator, supervisor, law student, paralegal, over-the-road trucker, foundry and factory worker, forklift operator, courier, landscaper, cabinet builder, maintenance man, handy man, honey do-er (threw that one in for my wife), flooring installer, and I'm sure some others that I can't remember.
- The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. We operate strictly under this Code Of Ethics.
- My clients are my first priority, but my reputations as a professional in the real estate community is equally important to me. I successfully operate through cooperation with other REALTORS® in the business of selling real estate. It is this cooperation that has enabled me to reach many awards in the real estate industry.
- To me, Ethics is easily summed up as "Always doing the right thing". Honesty, integrity, respect, sincerity, empathy, and genuine concern for the people involved in the transaction.......instead of simply close the deal and get paid.......is what the business is about to me.
- Real Estate is a business that is always evolving and changing. Because of this, we must evolve and change through education. As professionals, we feel it necessary to seek information wherever we can as we see a new trend in the market, or to increase our knowlege of the market that we operate in.
- In this rapidly changing real estate market, if your not learning.....your not earning. Every day we monitor the local real estate market so that we can use the information that we acquire to better serve our buyers and sellers.
- If there is a dip in the market, our clients need to know!
- If there is a gap in the market, our clients need to know!
- If we are asked a question that we don't have the answer to immediately, we find it. We would rather admit that we don't know, than to lie to you!! Not having all of the answers gives us an opportunity to learn. Like I said earlier: If you're not learning in this business.............you're not earning in this business.
